Jose Luis Gallardo Memorial Scholarship

The Jose Luis Gallardo Memorial Scholarship awards $1,000 to a deserving San Diego Miramar College student who embodies the values of hard work, courage, and dedication to family. Preference is given to Hispanic students, veterans or active military members, and students pursuing a career in aviation/aerospace. If you are committed to building a brighter future for yourself and your community, we encourage you to apply.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in a career education field at Miramar College
• Preference given to Hispanic students, Vet/Military student, or a student seeking an aviation certificate/degree

“THANK YOU” LETTER
The San Diego Miramar College Foundation have dedicated themselves to raising money to help students reach their educational and vocational dreams.
All Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a “Thank You” Letter to the donor expressing your sincere appreciation of the award(s).

Note: If you are selected and notified of a scholarship award, you must claim it no later than December 19, 2026, unless otherwise specified in the scholarship guidelines. Awards not claimed by this date will be forfeited.
