Hawthorne Cat Diesel Technology Scholarship

The Hawthorne Cat Diesel Technology Scholarship celebrates the ongoing relationship between Hawthorne Cat and San Diego Miramar College in advancing education and workforce development in Diesel technology. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate technical promise, dedication to their craft, and a commitment to excellence in the Diesel field. Through this investment, Hawthorne Cat continues to champion student success and help cultivate the next generation of highly skilled industry professionals.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Must be enrolled in 12 units at San Diego Miramar College
Must be enrolled full-time in the Diesel Technology program
Must be seeking a Certificate of Achievement in Diesel Technology (HDTT or HET)

“THANK YOU” LETTER
The San Diego Miramar College Foundation have dedicated themselves to raising money to help students reach their educational and vocational dreams.
All Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a “Thank You” Letter to the donor expressing your sincere appreciation of the award(s).

Note: If you are selected and notified of a scholarship award, you must claim it no later than December 19, 2026, unless otherwise specified in the scholarship guidelines. Awards not claimed by this date will be forfeited.
