Bell Sanchez Family Emergency Medical Technician Scholarship

The Bell Sanchez Family Emergency Medical Technician Scholarship supports students who are working toward completing their educational goals at San Diego Miramar College. This scholarship is designed to encourage academic success and help ensure that students remain on track toward finishing their degree or certificate programs.

Eligible applicants are focused students who are at the mid-point of completion for the Certificate of Performance in Emergency Medical Technician. Recipients will be selected based on criteria that reflect commitment to academic achievement and persistence in their educational journey.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Completed FAFSA and Comprehensive Student Education Plan with a goal of attaining a Certificate of Performance in Emergency Medical Technician
• Perfect attendance and completion of all assignments and quizzes at midterm
• Successful completion of the midterm cognitive exam scoring greater than or equal to 80% and successful completion of midterm practical exam

The San Diego Miramar College Foundation have dedicated themselves to raising money to help students reach their educational and vocational dreams.
All Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a “Thank You” Letter to the donor expressing your sincere appreciation of the award(s).

Note: If you are selected and notified of a scholarship award, you must claim it no later than December 19, 2026, unless otherwise specified in the scholarship guidelines. Awards not claimed by this date will be forfeited.
