Biotechnology Scholarship

This scholarship supports students pursuing a Certificate of Achievement and/or an Associate of Science Degree in Biotechnology at San Diego Miramar College. Designed to open doors for students eager to enter this dynamic and rapidly expanding industry, this scholarship reduces financial barriers and empowers students to gain the skills needed for meaningful careers in medicine, agriculture, food science, biological engineering, bioremediation, and environmental protection/regulation. 

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Enrolled in coursework leading to a Certificate of Achievement and/or AS in Biotechnology
• Completion of FAFSA or CADAA
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

The San Diego Miramar College Foundation have dedicated themselves to raising money to help students reach their educational and vocational dreams.
All Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a “Thank You” Letter to the donor expressing your sincere appreciation of the award(s).

Note: If you are selected and notified of a scholarship award, you must claim it no later than December 19, 2026, unless otherwise specified in the scholarship guidelines. Awards not claimed by this date will be forfeited.
