Miramar LGBTQ+ Student Scholarship
The Miramar LGBTQ+ Student Scholarship supports Miramar College 2SLGBTQIA+ students towards achieving their academic, career, and personal goals. This $1000 scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate advocacy, community development, and a dedication to creating safe spaces both on and off campus. Whether through advocacy, activism, or simply living authentically, recipients of this scholarship embody the spirit of pride and empowerment. The scholarship seeks to provide financial support to help LGBTQ+ students achieve their educational goals and continue making positive impacts in both their personal and professional lives.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
- Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 units
- Student Identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ Community
- Complete FAFSA/CADAA with unmet need
The donors of scholarships have dedicated themselves to raising money to help students
reach their educational and vocational dreams.
All scholarship recipients will be required to provide a “Thank You” Letter to the donor expressing
your sincere appreciation of the award(s).
